Digify

Enabling secure, scalable growth on AWS for a rapidly expanding document sharing platform

The client

Digify is a Singapore-based technology company specialising in secure document sharing and digital rights management. Their platform empowers businesses to confidently share sensitive information while retaining full control over who can access, forward, or download it.

As demand for secure digital collaboration grew, Digify successfully expanded its footprint across industries such as finance, legal, and corporate advisory, building a strong international client base. However, rapid growth brought new operational challenges familiar to many scaling tech businesses.

The challenge

As Digify’s business expanded, their existing infrastructure began to show its limitations. Deployment processes were slow and manual, making it harder to deliver new features quickly. Scaling applications to meet increasing customer demand became complex, and a lack of real-time visibility into system performance made day-to-day operations harder for their team to manage.

To sustain their momentum and continue delivering a first-class experience to customers, Digify needed a modern, cloud-native platform, one that could accelerate development cycles, scale seamlessly with demand, and strengthen operational insights, all while upholding the uncompromising security and reliability their users expect.

The solution

We partnered with Digify to modernise their platform from the ground up, creating a resilient foundation for future growth.

Starting with the core AWS infrastructure, we re-architected their cloud environments using Terraform, introducing fully automated provisioning across management, staging, and production. This ensured that new infrastructure could be deployed consistently, securely, and at speed.

We engineered highly available Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) clusters for both staging and production, established secure networking, and implemented VPC peering with existing systems to safeguard operational continuity. Cross-account IAM roles were configured to simplify and fortify access controls.

To accelerate deployments, we introduced a fully automated CI/CD pipeline integrating AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and ArgoCD, enabling application changes to flow quickly and reliably from development to production, all under strict version control.

Key applications were containerised and optimised for ARM64 architecture, improving performance and reducing operating costs, while preserving x86 compatibility where necessary to ensure a smooth transition.

For real-time visibility, we delivered integrated Grafana dashboards, giving Digify’s teams centralised access to metrics, logs, and system health monitoring, dramatically improving their ability to detect and address issues early.

To enhance scalability, we configured Horizontal Pod Autoscaling (HPA) within Kubernetes, allowing services to flex dynamically in response to traffic without manual intervention. The migration itself was staged meticulously, ensuring services moved progressively with minimal disruption and no interruption to end users.

The results

  • Zero downtime during migration
  • 100% increase in system visibility through real-time monitoring dashboards
  • Deployment time dramatically reduced with fully automated CI/CD pipelines

By moving to a modern, Kubernetes-based cloud platform, Digify significantly shortened their deployment cycles, enabling faster feature delivery and quicker response to market needs.

The new platform automatically scales services in response to real-world traffic, reducing manual overhead and ensuring a smoother experience for customers during busy periods. Real-time monitoring has improved operational visibility, helping technical teams detect and resolve issues faster, and strengthening overall system stability.

With automation embedded into infrastructure management and deployment processes, Digify has reduced technical debt, lowered operational risks, and positioned themselves to scale more efficiently and innovate more confidently.

Today, Digify operates on a resilient, cloud-native platform designed not just to meet current demands, but to adapt easily as their business continues to grow.
